SHERRI LYN HIGGINS

Sherri Lyn Higgins, also known as S.Higgins, is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist working in visual art, performance, and sound. Her art playfully explores the darker aspects of the human psyche via Surrealism, Feminism, folklore and witchcraft and she considers her work equal parts art and magickal practice. She has published, performed, and exhibited internationally, notably at the 2008 Whitney Biennial and recent Surrealist exhibitions in Montreal, Costa Rica, and the UK. Higgins has made collaborative performances/recordings with Nurse With Wound and others and she has been awarded grants from the Canada Council For The Arts.
